Senior Digital Designer
Job Description
Harry’s is hiring a Senior Digital Designer to shape how millions of people experience the brand across direct-to-consumer web and email. Join a craft-obsessed, collaborative team on the Harry’s and Flamingo Creative organization, where brand storytelling and commercial performance move together, powered by critique, iteration, and a genuine care for digital craft.
This onsite role is based in New York, NY, with a base salary range of USD 91,000 to 120,000 per year. The role supports flexible focus across multiple digital surfaces, including US and international properties, with close collaboration between UX, Product, Engineering, and Brand Marketing.
What you’ll work on
- Develop and advocate for strong digital concepts grounded in brand, UX, and UI, explaining the decisions clearly through both visuals and words.
- Translate Harry’s brand strategy, identity, and visual systems into a distinctive digital experience across DTC, Amazon, marketplaces, email, and other interactive touchpoints.
- Define and evolve the visual design language, storytelling principles, and creative direction that bring Harry’s to life across the digital ecosystem, partnering with UX, Product, and Digital Merchandising.
- Spend the majority of time designing from early concepts and prototypes through polished UI, email, digital merchandising, and final handoff.
- Design brand-led experiences where UI, motion, and content work together, with accessibility and UX integrated from the start.
- Balance brand expression with conversion, merchandising, and the customer journey, using testing to inform design decisions.
- Present and review work with clear, confident communication to stakeholders.
- Own quality across projects by managing time and priorities across pages and features, while staying open to direction from senior designers and helping raise the bar through design critiques, systems thinking, and mentorship of junior designers.
- Partner closely with Brand Creative, UX, Product, Engineering, and Brand Marketing to ensure visual execution aligns with customer experience and commercial goals.
- Contribute to a team culture built on critique, iteration, and care for craft.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in digital design, product design, or a related field (agency, in-house brand, or e-commerce).
- A portfolio showing end-to-end digital work (concept, UX, UI, visual design, interaction, prototyping) with the detail that distinguishes good from excellent.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, UI design, interaction design, and visual storytelling. Motion or deeper brand experience is a plus.
- The ability to connect design choices to business goals and customer needs, and defend them with stakeholders.
- Experience building and evolving design systems, including modular UI, component libraries, and style guides.
- High proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and interactive workflows, in modern collaborative design environments.
- Comfort working in iterative environments with early and frequent team sharing.
- E-commerce or DTC design experience (Shopify or similar) is a strong plus.
