Job Description

Atomicdust is seeking a Senior Designer to connect brand strategy with intuitive, high-quality digital experiences. In this onsite role in St. Louis, you will lead branding and web design efforts, produce high-fidelity concepts in Figma, and collaborate closely with developers to launch websites in WordPress.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead branding and web-design projects covering UX + UI from kickoff through hand-off.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly through both visual design and verbal explanation.
  • Partner directly with writers, developers, account managers, and clients to align on goals and deliverables.
  • Create web-friendly prototypes that translate design intent effectively for developers.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Present and defend design decisions to teams and clients using a balanced approach of confidence and humility.
  • Take direction, ask questions (including the ones you feel are “basic”), and adapt when plans change.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years designing brand identities and web experiences that actually shipped, either in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma, plus comfort designing within Elementor or Kadence constraints.
  • Deep understanding of UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design, with good judgment about when to push boundaries.
  • Awareness of the web’s capabilities and limitations, including the ability to identify practical workarounds.
  • Solid typography skills, with an eye for motion, photography, and art direction.
  • A low-ego, collaborative working style with clear communication.
