Retail Sales and Graphic Design Specialist

Big Frog of Bowling Green is hiring a part-time Retail Sales and Graphic Design Specialist onsite in Bowling Green, KY. This role blends retail customer service with hands-on custom design work, with an employee discount plus paid time off. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour or can be discussed based on experience.

In this position, you will help customers get exactly what they want, turn their ideas into ready-to-print artwork, and support day-to-day store and production needs.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand design preferences and provide product recommendations
• Use basic graphic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Corel Draw to create custom designs
• Maintain 5-star customer satisfaction through high-quality products and excellent service
• Answer the phone and respond to email and voicemail as quickly as possible
• Finalize artwork and transfer it to production
• Review the previous day’s orders to prioritize artwork and printing
• Ensure 24-hour turnaround orders are met ahead of schedule
• Assist with merchandising and help keep the store clean and organized
• Support inventory management, including restocking merchandise as needed
• Complete timely opening and closing procedures
• Handle production hold-ups in a professional manner and communicate updates to customers
• Review orders “in the pipeline” and send follow-ups when appropriate
• Receive, put away, and perform monthly inventory counts
• Assist with production once customer responsibilities are completed

Requirements

• Proficiency in basic graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Corel Draw
• 1+ year of experience in a retail environment
• Strong, articulate email communication (email volume is high)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Energetic, outgoing personality with a positive attitude and passion for customer service
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Creative mindset with a detail-oriented approach
• Knowledge of printing techniques and materials is a plus
• Social networking knowledge (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) is a plus
• Key holder/open-close experience for a small business is a plus

Job Type, Location, and Schedule

• Location: Bowling Green, KY (onsite)
• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: Starts at $17.00/hour or discuss based on experience
• Expected schedule: 20–25 hours per week

Store hours: Monday through Friday from 9am–6pm, and Saturday from 9am–1pm. You must be available all days during these hours.
