Project Coordinator - Pre-Press Graphic Design

DUNCAN PARNELL INC is hiring an onsite Pre-Press Graphic Design professional in Charlotte, NC to help sales and production move faster with accurate, press-ready files. If you enjoy making customer artwork production-ready for print applications and keeping projects organized end to end, this role supports both internal teams and client approvals.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and finalize artwork for wide-format printing, packaging, and signage applications
• Review customer-supplied files and correct issues related to color, resolution, bleed, and layout
• Preflight and package print files for internal production or for outsourced vendors
• Cross-reference artwork with job specs and purchase orders to ensure accuracy
• Create digital proofs for internal approval and client sign-off
• Share file status, proof approvals, and any production concerns with sales and coordination teams
• Update the production job board with artwork completion and release timelines
• Ensure files are set up correctly for production equipment such as flatbed printers, cutters, and routers
• Maintain organized file systems and follow version control best practices
• Complete additional design or production tasks as assigned

What you bring

• 2 years of print experience
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; competent in Microsoft Office products

• Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-Motivation to work independently
• Team Player who collaborates with sales and coordination teams

Tools you’ll use

Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and production equipment including flatbed printers, cutters, and routers.
