Product Designer
Job Description
NextBillion.ai is building a decentralised, customizable, and tailored map stack for the transportation and logistics industry, helping teams address highly complex operational challenges. As a Product Designer, you will partner with other designers and work alongside cross-functional teams to improve products, shape complex workflows, and support delivery against the product roadmap.
This is a remote role with a focus on iterative design and close collaboration across engineering and customer success to ensure customer needs are reflected in the final experience.
What you’ll do
- Identify new opportunities to improve the product
- Design complex workflows using an iterative design process
- Work closely with product engineering teams to help deliver on the product roadmap
- Collaborate with customer success to develop a strong understanding of customer needs
- Stay current with product design trends
- Communicate design rationale and advocate for design through presentations of your work
What you bring
- 5+ years of product design experience, including work in fast growth Internet companies
- Knowledge of the end-to-end product design process
- Ability to create visually strong, delightful, useful, and usable experiences, with strengths across visual design, interaction, and product design
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- A systematic approach to complex design challenges, paired with the ability to explain solutions in the simplest way
