Product Designer
Job Description
Jito Foundation is hiring a Product Designer to help shape JTX, designing UX and UI for web and native mobile. This role balances deep product work with design system ownership, and includes marketing support when needed. You will also release work, observe real usage, and keep iterating based on what users do.
What you’ll focus on
You’ll design core trading and wallet experiences end to end, covering everything from early problem definition through final UI. Your scope for JTX includes order entry, market data, charts, positions, execution visibility, plus onboarding and wallet flows.
Beyond feature screens, you’ll take responsibility for the foundations the team builds on. You will own and improve the design system and token library used by engineers, helping keep the product consistent and scalable.
Design support beyond JTX
Design needs don’t always stay within one surface. When the team requires additional help, you’ll jump in on design work for other Jito products. You’ll also provide marketing design support when needed, such as landing pages, social assets, and launch materials.
How the work stays aligned
After shipping, you’ll release designs, observe real usage, and continue improving based on what you learn. You will take features from first principles to production and then refine them through measurement and iteration.
What we’re looking for
- Strong product sense: you can explain why a decision is correct, not just that it looks good.
- Clarity on busy screens: you can spot hierarchy and usability issues in dense interfaces and articulate what’s causing them.
- Comfort across UX and UI: you can work through research, UX, and UI as needed for an early-stage product designer.
- Independent execution with collaboration: you can take ownership, bring the team in on important decisions, and still work independently on day-to-day choices.
- Proactive communication and strong collaboration with engineering and product.
- Direct, constructive critique: you can give specific feedback and receive it, keeping critique quick and specific, never personal.
- Figma proficiency and comfort working directly with token-based design systems.
