Role Overview
In this role, you will take ownership of product design from early discovery and workflow mapping through polished execution, prototypes, implementation details, and post-launch iteration. You will design interfaces that help users inspect, triage, and act on field-collected data, turning dense, multidimensional information into clear, actionable experiences for arborists, storm responders, and utility operations teams.
Responsibilities

- Convert customer-specific workflows into reusable primitives that keep the product coherent as Treeswift expands.
- Partner deeply across functions with product, engineering, forward deployed engineers, customer teams, and sales to translate customer needs into high-quality product experiences.
- Shape design culture by leading by example and helping ensure curiosity and high ownership continue to thrive as the organization grows significantly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional product design experience, including meaningful experience shipping complex B2B and enterprise software.
- Portfolio strength in interaction design, information design, and visual design, with emphasis on data-dense interfaces.
- Senior IC and leadership capability, including running workshops with executives, collaborating with field inspectors, and producing Figma design files and interactive prototypes.
- Comfort in ambiguity and energy for an early-stage environment, with experience being scrappy when needed and helping teams mature design practices over time.
