Job Description

This Prepress Artist and Graphic Design role sits within Diocesan's Ad Design Department, focusing on print advertisement design, content editing, updating ad pages, and collaboration with the sales team. It is an onsite position based in Byron Center, Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling print advertisements using client-provided content and imagery.
  • Review and refine client content to produce clear, visually engaging layouts.
  • Maintain and update published ad pages to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and update graphics with minimal supervision, adhering to established design standards.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to fulfill customer requests and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, with strong emphasis on Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Highly organized problem solver with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to proofread and review work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Above-average computer literacy with willingness to learn new tools and continuously improve.
