Part-Time Graphic Design & Digital Photography Mentor
Job Description
Study Smart Tutors seeks a part-time mentor to teach Graphic Design and Digital Photography to 9–12th grade students onsite in Fontana, CA.
Responsibilities
- Teach Graphic Design and Digital Photography
- Provide mentoring support to students in both small and large groups
- Use access to information about class assignments to guide instruction
- Adapt teaching approach to new materials and updated teaching strategies
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
- Collaborate with Study Smart’s Education team to deliver comprehensive learning strategies to students
Requirements
- Completed 4-year degree required
- Bachelor’s in Photography preferred
- Advanced photography experience required
- Advanced experience in digital photography required
- Teaching or tutoring experience strongly desired
- In-person availability required
- Scheduled onsite hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 12:20 PM to 2:30 PM PST
- Complete and pass a background check; may include fingerprinting based on location
Compensation
- Hourly rate range: USD 22–40
- Excellent rate of pay: $40/hour
- Paid onboarding/training/preparation/support: $22.00/hour
