Job Description
Design and maintain responsive, user-friendly web pages for the University of Florida while working with WordPress and front-end design tools.
Responsibilities
- Partner with design and content teams to build captivating, responsive web pages using WordPress, and support updates using HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript when needed
- Translate design concepts, wireframes, and mockups into engaging user interfaces
- Customize and update existing WordPress themes to keep the website’s visual consistency
- Revise website content based on requests from faculty members and the ETC team
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive, visually consistent online presence
Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled UF student
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HTML and CSS (not required, but preferred)
- Familiarity with the WordPress content management system (not required, but preferred)
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
