Job Description

This long-term hybrid agile role is for a Web Designer (UI/UX) embedded with technical teams building technical products using Microsoft .NET and Angular, with a shared focus on UI design quality and usable experiences across web and mobile-based systems.

Role Context

Sky Solutions LLC. is hiring for a .Net Web Designer (UI/UX) position based in Oklahoma City, OK (remote). The role is a long-term engagement within a hybrid agile workflow and uses Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio as part of the core toolset.

Responsibilities

  • Review and develop interface designs that are cohesive, on-brand, in-trend, and aligned with best practices
  • Support and analyze A/B testing comparisons by evaluating multiple interface approaches
  • Create, design, and document high-fidelity mockups
  • Collaborate with developers as part of an agile development process
  • Apply usability principles, with emphasis on web and mobile-based software products

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with information architecture, including development of annotated wireframes
  • Experience using user experience and wireframing tools including Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
  • Clean, semantic front-end code experience with HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
  • 2+ years designing user-centered processes for web-based information systems from concept to execution
  • 2+ years working with human factors of information systems
  • Understanding of UI/UX tasks tied to system efficiency, effectiveness, and sound usability
  • Specialized experience identifying and assessing usability issues, risks, and solutions, including requirements analysis and UI/UX test and evaluation with rapid prototyping and UI mockups
  • Experience integrating research and best practices into UI/UX designs and processes
