Mid to Senior Art Director, Creative Development

Dentsu is offering a temporary, project-by-project Art Director opportunity for a creative leader who enjoys concepting and shaping on-strategy work across multiple mediums. This fully remote role is based in Massachusetts (remote), with an hourly pay range of $53.74 to $71.65, and runs starting ASAP through end of year (with potential to extend or convert, though not guaranteed).

In this role, you will help define the look, tone, and feel of creative ideas across diverse client engagements. The work supports high-volume creative production and strategic customer engagement initiatives in a healthcare or health-adjacent context, with leadership responsibilities that scale across timelines, requests, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Bring strong comping skills across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop creative solutions that translate effectively across all media, grounded in the communications objective, client nuances, and timing or budget parameters.
• Maintain a self-directed, organized approach while staying resilient to changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
• Concept and art direct against deliverables by building campaigns, comps, story boards, and mockups for multiple projects, deliverables, and clients simultaneously.

Requirements

• Customer wellness, healthcare, or health-adjacent industry experience is required.
• 4+ years of experience in the creative advertising industry.
• Must be available to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
• W2 only. Candidates must be authorized to work and reside in the United States.
• Preferred location: fully remote candidates with a preference for those based in or near Boston, Hartford (CT), Rhode Island, or New York.

Work Location Expectations

Dentsu serves clients from offices around the world. Employees who live within commutable distance of a hub office (currently Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City) are expected to work from the office three days per week (or two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Those outside commutable distance may be designated as remote based on role and business needs, and all employees should remain flexible to meet company and client needs, including potential office attendance.
