Job Description

Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District is looking for a creative and strategic coordinator to help strengthen CFBISD branding and build marketing that drives engagement, enrollment, and recruitment. This onsite Central Office role within Communication Services partners closely with the Communications team to research, develop, implement, and continually refine campaigns, events, and digital and print collateral.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies by collaborating with stakeholders to create and execute plans that promote district programs, initiatives, and events.
  • Create, draft, and edit advertising and promotional campaigns across digital and print channels.
  • Use market research and data analysis to identify trends, evaluate marketing effectiveness, and recommend next-step strategies.
  • Write and edit copy for a range of communications including news, feature, scripts, business, web, social media, and public relations materials.
  • Plan, create, and evaluate graphic and video content for social media, coordinating with the Digital Media Coordinator and Social Media Specialist.
  • Produce original digital artwork and graphic layouts for campus and district initiatives and events.
  • Lead coordination and production or purchasing of marketing materials such as letters, key messages, FAQs, brochures, digital presentations, fliers, and other design collateral to spotlight district achievements and opportunities.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of special events and programs.
  • Support and maintain district brand standards across all communications.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and also collaborate as part of a larger team.
  • Maintain confidentiality related to FERPA matters.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • At least three years of progressive experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing brand presence, communicating messaging to target audiences, and supporting event planning.
  • Experience in K-12 education or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong writing skills for marketing materials; knowledge of Associated Press Style preferred.
  • Ability to create high-quality, visually appealing work aligned with district image and marketing goals.
  • Ability to translate brand standards into usable tools for non-designers.
  • Effective project management skills to plan and execute campaigns and events, meet deadlines, and manage resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; organized, adaptable, and deadline oriented.
  • Comfort researching, planning, executing, and evaluating projects, events, and campaigns.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish or other languages) is preferred.
  • A strong graphic design portfolio showing brand-aligned design, campaign work, digital content, and KPI-driven results.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and executing successful events.

Team, reporting, and working conditions

This position reports to the Chief Communications Officer and supports Communication Services in an Administration - Central Office/Coordinator - Marketing and Graphic Design role. Pay grade is AP 6 – 226 Days. The listing was revised in July 2026, and the work location is Carrollton, TX (onsite).

  • Working conditions: Occasional districtwide and statewide travel.
  • Mental/physical/environmental factors: Must maintain a high level of concentration and control emotional stress in the current work environment.
