Graphic Design/Sign Shop Position

This full-time Graphic Design and Sign Shop position is based onsite in Amarillo, TX, and is operated by Texas Sign & Design, a subsidiary of City Machine & Welding, Inc. The role features a four-day workweek (32 hours) paid as 40 hours, a day shift, in-person work, and a Friday rotation every third week.

Responsibilities

• Designing graphics assets for client and internal projects
• Producing graphics for roll-fed digital printers
• Outputting graphics to flatbed digital printers
• Sending graphics to roll-fed vinyl cutting plotters
• Outputting graphics to flatbed cutter/router systems
• Outputting graphics to thermal digital printers
• Performing vinyl weeding
• Applying transfer or application tape
• Conducting final finishing tasks
• On-bench installation work
• On-site installations when required
• Verifying orders for accuracy and completeness
• Packaging orders upon completion
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Providing assistance to other departments such as embroidery and screen printing when needed
