Graphic Design Manager

Techtronic Industries (Milwaukee Tool) is hiring an onsite Graphic Design Manager in Menomonee Falls, WI. In this role, you will lead creative design initiatives that strengthen brand voice and improve customer experiences. You will manage a team, guide end-to-end digital design workflows, and help evolve technology and processes to increase efficiency and impact.

• Lead creative design initiatives while maintaining brand standards.
• Develop user-focused strategies aligned with business objectives and launch goals.
• Assess and evolve processes to drive innovation and optimize efficiency over time.
• Evaluate and advance technology and designer capabilities, prioritizing impact over activity with a scaling mindset.
• Proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and summarize details and trade-offs for leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through best practices and knowledge transfer to train others.
• Lead projects with clear priorities, manage progress, and resolve blockers proactively.
• Adapt to changing priorities while managing workload for self and team to meet deadlines.
• Influence cross-functional teams by communicating vision and aligning efforts for strong solutions.
• Present insights and improvement opportunities to senior leadership with clear, audience-tailored communication.
• Manage and develop direct reports, providing constructive feedback, setting clear expectations, and supporting high-impact work.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to support efficiency and impact.
• Promote inclusivity and knowledge-sharing across teams.

What you bring

• 7-10 years of professional graphic design experience with leadership and management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Portfolio required demonstrating creativity and expertise in design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, digital asset management, and project management software (plus).
• Expert understanding of emerging AI and automation tools/technologies, with a proven track record managing end-to-end digital design workflows.
• Ability to analyze market, consumer, and customer insights.
• Strong ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Results-driven and detail-oriented approach, open to feedback and continuously seeking improvement.
• Ability to translate business goals into action plans and contingencies.
