Job Description

Gourmac Inc. is looking for a creative Graphic Design & Content Creator to help bring product and marketing stories to life. This full-time, in-person role in Canaan, CT supports a steady pipeline of on-brand design work, from graphics and copy to motion content and web/UI visuals. If you enjoy turning ideas into polished assets, you will have the tools and opportunities to build cohesive creative across channels.

What you’ll do

  • Create innovative graphic designs and marketing copy for materials including brochures, catalog sheets, advertisements, social media content, and website graphics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop cohesive branding strategies that strengthen brand recognition.
  • Produce motion graphics and video content using Adobe After Effects and related software.
  • Use design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and InVision for UI and web design projects.
  • Apply color theory, typography, and layout principles to deliver visually appealing compositions.
  • Keep skills current by staying up to date on design trends, tools, and technologies, contributing fresh ideas as you go.

What you bring

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) plus CorelDRAW.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong branding knowledge, including logo design experience.
  • Familiarity with WordPress for web design projects.
  • Experience in digital design with a keen eye for color management and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of photography principles (photo editing experience is essential).
  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple projects at once.
  • Knowledge of coding languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Attention to detail and strong organization, paired with creative problem-solving.

Compensation & benefits

This is a full-time role, with pay starting from $20.00 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits include 401(k), employee discount, health insurance, and paid time off.
