Global People Communications & Graphic Design Specialist
Job Description
Hybrid graphic design and internal communications role in New York, NY, focused on delivering high quality visual content and driving employee engagement across global Capri brands.
Responsibilities
- Direct the development of premium assets for internal communications and employee engagement across multiple media, including intranet content, engagement initiatives, video, photography, presentations, events, and print collateral.
- Convert key messages into clear, engaging, and visually compelling formats.
- Keep communications on brand, consistent, and aligned across Capri brands and functions.
- Balance existing design system guidelines with innovative concepts to continually elevate content.
- Create and sustain templates, design systems, and visual guidelines to enable scalable content creation.
- Assist in building internal communications from intake through writing, editing, and distribution for announcements, campaigns, platform content, and engagement collateral.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure visuals are strong, messaging is clear and relevant, and content is impactful.
- Provide guidance on delivery strategy, including format, channels, layout, and storytelling approach.
- Contribute to developing communication plans and narrative frameworks.
- Support global employee engagement programs, including events, activations, and campaigns.
- Translate engagement strategies into creative content that brings them to life.
- Collaborate with the Coordinator, Global People Communications & Engagement, shaping creative and content direction while they handle execution.
- Assist with launching and continuously optimizing the global communications platform.
- Develop templates, toolkits, and visual frameworks to enable self-service content creation for worldwide stakeholders.
- Ensure content is visually engaging, consistent, and easily digestible across digital channels.
- Work with the Senior Manager and Director to maintain global alignment, quality, and effectiveness.
- Offer guidance on design and content approaches for stakeholders and internal partners.
- Foster cross-regional partnerships across North America, EMEA, and APAC to reflect the global scope of the role.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in communications and graphic design, ideally within luxury retail, wholesale, or a corporate environment with a global employee footprint.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with basic video editing using Premiere Pro/After Effects; photography experience is a plus.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms such as intranets and employee engagement platforms, plus campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong ability to prioritize, adapt quickly to changing business needs, manage time effectively, and stay composed under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- Experience collaborating with global or cross-functional teams.
- Experience with internal communications or employee engagement initiatives.
- A robust design portfolio that demonstrates visual storytelling.
- High degree of creativity and innovative thinking.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
- Genuine interest in employee experience, culture, and wellbeing.
