Freelance/Co-Op Product Designer

Factor 10 offers an onsite freelance and co-op Product Designer role in New Orleans, LA. You will collaborate with a creative team to develop and refine design concepts for toys and consumer products, presenting ideas across media and growing your craft in a fast-changing design landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop new design concepts and refine existing ones, including toys, consumer products, and related items
• Think creatively to generate fresh ideas and compelling concepts
• Use innovative thinking to redefine a design brief within cost and time constraints
• Demonstrate illustrative skills with sketches, storyboards, and concept boards
• Work across a broad range of media and programs, including 3D modeling, photography, and video
• Present concepts internally in engaging and effective ways
• Research and compile information quickly and efficiently as it relates to client or internal projects
• Occasionally manage external resources
• Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and clarity
• Maintain a strong desire to continuously grow and adapt in the evolving design world
