Job Description

Design AI-powered financial product experiences for Austin Capital Bank, building user journeys and polished UI/UX end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions where your ideas are valued.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define and design user journeys.
  • Create intuitive user interfaces that improve how people interact with fintech products.
  • Work on real problems that impact users’ lives.
  • Gather user feedback and insights, then refine designs to better match audience needs.
  • Use AI and other advanced tools and technologies to streamline design workflows and support creative iteration.
  • Produce highly polished deliverables, from wireframes and pixel-perfect mockups to prototypes and final assets.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or up to 5 years of experience in product design or related fields, with a portfolio demonstrating visual and interaction design strengths.
  • Alternative path: if you are not yet at the experience level, you can apply with the drive, confidence, and intelligence to make a difference.
  • Fluency with AI and AI-enabled design tools, including using AI to accelerate ideation, generate variations and prototypes, and iterate faster.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces with strong typography, color, layout, visual hierarchy, and motion instincts.
  • Fintech or financial product experience preferred, with an understanding of trust, confidence, and compliance considerations.
  • Experience designing consumer-facing products for mobile and responsive web.
  • Expert Figma skills, including component libraries, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping (additional tools are a plus).
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills with motivation to continuously improve both craft areas.
  • Team-first mindset, strong communication, and collaborative creativity.

Compensation

  • USD 65,000 - 80,000 per year
