Job Description

Design and build user-focused, accessible web experiences for mission-critical Department of Defense applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user-centric web pages, dashboards, and digital products for desktop and mobile
  • Convert stakeholder needs into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
  • Maintain Section 508 accessibility compliance and follow DoD UI/UX guidelines
  • Partner with developers, engineers, and analysts to support front-end implementation
  • Maintain and enhance existing websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS)
  • Support content layout, branding updates, iconography, and information architecture improvements
  • Run usability testing and apply feedback to improve design effectiveness
  • Create visual assets for presentations, dashboards, and communication materials
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and change control processes

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining websites and digital interfaces
  • Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or XD
  • Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards

Salary: USD 65,000 - 80,000 per monthly

Minimum experience: 3 years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field
