Creative Director (Art)

ICF is hiring a Creative Director (Art) for select energy-sector clients in a high-stakes, mission-driven environment. This onsite role in Philadelphia, PA supports creative strategy and execution across major accounts, with the opportunity to shape multi-channel work, mentor teams, and influence outcomes for industry-leading clients.

Pay range: $131,256.00 - $223,134.00 per year. Location: Philadelphia, PA (onsite). For select accounts, candidates may be based in the Philadelphia or New Jersey area to bring strong local market knowledge and strengthen connections with clients and communities.

What you will do

• Lead creative direction for top-tier energy accounts, translating briefs into breakthrough ideas
• Develop multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, video, experiential, and earned formats
• Mentor and direct creative teams to support high-impact, high-quality execution
• Present work persuasively to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain urgency, quality, and focus while managing multiple simultaneous workstreams
• Apply a growth mindset to adapt to evolving tech, tools, platforms, and shifting priorities
• Help build a culture of creative excellence and collaboration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with writers, designers, strategists, and account leads to produce work that is ambitious and effective
• Drive creative product and team performance, guiding deliverables from pitch decks through production with rigor, speed, and creative edge

What you bring

• 12+ years of creative experience (agency or studio), including senior-level leadership
• A portfolio demonstrating standout conceptual and executional work

• Fluency in emerging creative tech, including AI-supported workflows
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
