Based in Denver, CO, this on-site Brand Designer role focuses on Experiential Graphic Design to shape environmental graphics, signage, and wayfinding within built environments for global clients. You will partner with architects and interior designers to translate brand identity into physical spaces at Gensler. The role requires a minimum of 8 years of post-graduate and direct relevant experience in environmental graphics and a Bachelor’s degree or higher. The annual salary range is USD 90,000 to 125,000.

Responsibilities

  • Develop upfront design concepts for environmental graphics and experiential identity within physical spaces.
  • Bridge creative ideas with technical understanding to guide projects through final production.
  • Collaborate with integrated teams of architects and interior designers, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Present ideas clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • Provide drawings at scale and work with architectural documentation, elevations, plans, and shop drawings.
  • Design and develop signage and wayfinding systems that are legible, code-compliant, and integrated with architecture and interior design from concept to installation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and design trends and share insights with the team.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a positive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a portfolio that shows a range of approaches and fully realized projects, demonstrating the ability to apply a client’s brand across multiple mediums.
  • Show interest in expanding skills across built environment, signage and wayfinding, experiential design, brand design, and digital design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or similar
  • At least 8 years of post-graduate and direct relevant work experience in environmental graphics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD tools, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Revit, SketchUp, 3D, Motion Graphics, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere skills are a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of print production and vendor management
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills
  • Strong understanding of materials and fabrication/construction within built environments
  • Typography and illustration skills are a plus
