Associate Digital Designer

IXL Learning is seeking an Associate Digital Designer to craft visual experiences that span digital product interfaces, marketing materials, and print. This onsite role in San Mateo, CA centers on transforming wireframes into polished prototypes while safeguarding the brand identity across IXL’s family of products.

Responsibilities

• Develop visual experiences for digital/product marketing, print, and user facing web, mobile, and tablet platforms
• Translate wireframes into original, creative mock-ups across low and high-fidelity prototypes
• Design brand and marketing assets to boost engagement and support product initiatives
• Craft attractive, compelling designs that engage users while preserving visual consistency and brand identity
• Join design reviews and cross-functional feedback sessions
• Collaborate with product, marketing teams, and key stakeholders to understand and interpret project requirements
• Enhance existing interfaces with new layouts, imagery, graphics, and content
• Work with marketing teams to design emails, promotions, online ads, and marketing collateral

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Proven experience in UX/UI or product design
• Ability to create user-centered, uncluttered, visually cohesive designs
• Expert proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Capability to produce clean, brand-aligned designs consistent with established style
• Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Sketch
• Understanding of UX/UI processes, design libraries, responsive web practices, and related principles
• Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple design requests with timely delivery
• Passion for refined, elegant design
• Print design experience is a plus
• Interest in education is a plus

Annual salary range: USD 71,000 - 95,000
