Job Description

CVS Health’s Heart Haus team is hiring a Senior Art Director, Social and Content to shape innovative, audience-centric creative across social, digital, and content ecosystems. This hybrid role combines conceptual leadership with hands-on design to build scalable content systems while keeping work aligned to brand standards, accessibility needs, and platform best practices.

What you’ll do

Develop strategic, insight-driven creative concepts for social, digital, content, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Design and execute high-quality creative assets for social media, video, presentations, and other digital channels.
Create scalable content systems, templates, and design frameworks that help teams produce content efficiently.
Translate marketing objectives, audience insights, and brand strategies into compelling visual storytelling.
Lead creatively from concept through production, serving as both a conceptual creative lead and hands-on designer.
Partner with writers and art directors to develop integrated ideas and cohesive campaign experiences.
Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Brand, Social Media, Digital Experience, Clinical, Legal, and Accessibility teams to ensure creative meets business and stakeholder requirements.
Present creative concepts, rationale, and recommendations confidently to stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
Stay current on platform trends, emerging social behaviors, creator content, and best practices across major social and digital channels.
Leverage AI-powered design and creative tools to improve ideation, content creation, production efficiency, and workflow optimization.
Ensure all work aligns with CVS Health brand standards, accessibility requirements, and design best practices.
Support innovation initiatives, testing opportunities, and new content formats to advance CVS Health’s digital and social presence.

What you bring

A strong portfolio showing conceptual campaign thinking and high-quality execution across digital and social channels (a portfolio link is required for consideration).
Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in art direction, visual design, social creative, or integrated marketing.
2+ years in a senior-level creative role with responsibility for leading projects independently.
Proven ability to develop breakthrough ideas and deliver effective, polished executions.
Deep understanding of social platforms, content behaviors, and audience engagement strategies.
Expertise in visual storytelling, typography, layout, composition, and design systems.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), plus presentation design.
Familiarity with creator content, influencer marketing, and social content ecosystems.
Experience building social design systems, content playbooks, or scalable content frameworks.
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance concept development with hands-on execution.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
Willingness to embrace and incorporate AI-enabled creative tools into daily workflows.
Experience working within enterprise workflows and governance models including Figma, Workfront, and Microsoft 365.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Compensation and schedule

Location: Woonsocket, RI 02895 (hybrid)
Hybrid schedule: office 2-3 days per week, Office: Wellesley, MA or Woonsocket, RI
Anticipated weekly hours: 40
Time type: Full time
Base pay range: USD 66,330 - 145,860 per year
Incentives: eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to base pay range
