Job Description

Major League Soccer is hiring a Manager, Broadcast Motion Design to lead broadcast graphics initiatives across MLS, MLS NEXT Pro, and MLS NEXT. This hybrid role is based in Stamford, CT and supports matchday and studio visuals through both motion graphics and supporting static imagery like headshots. Along the way, you will collaborate with MLS partners and internal teams, contribute fresh design concepts, and help art direct virtual studio visuals.

What you’ll do

Serve as the primary designer for motion graphics solutions for match broadcasts and studio shows.
Manage and create headshots and other static images used in broadcast graphics packages.
Bring new ideas and designs to improve and expand broadcast graphics packages.
Attend meetings to review and discuss broadcast graphics with MLS partners and MLS staff.
Assist with matchday broadcast graphics operations on midweek evenings and weekends.
Help art direct virtual studio designs.
Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

What you bring

Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of experience as a generalist producing high-end 2D and 3D motion graphics design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Proficiency with VizRT Artist
Familiarity with VizRT Arena
Strong foundation in motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography, and layout
High attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Commitment to quality and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving
Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Reel and portfolio of work
Desired: Knowledge of the Spanish language (business proficiency)

Job Description

Curaleaf is seeking an Art Director to shape integrated campaigns from concept through production in our Stamford, Connecticut on-site studio. This role partners with the Creative Director to sustain strong brand relationships and ensure every deliverable meets strategic and creative briefs, with a compensation range of USD 79,000 to 85,000 per year and a requirement of at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Concept and design integrated campaigns, shepherding the creative process to keep work on strategy and on brief.
Work independently or with a writer counterpart to concept and deliver best-in-class campaigns across digital, print, animation, and video.
Develop compelling presentation decks that clearly communicate concepts and energize stakeholders.
Maintain organized files and archival practices to enable efficient collaboration.
Inspire the team by sharing reference material that conveys a clear design vision.
Collaborate effectively within a close-knit, global organization.
Manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
Oversee two direct reports with guidance from the Creative Director.
Demonstrate an understanding of the realities of marketing regulated products.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience as an Art Director in an agency or in-house creative position.
An online portfolio demonstrating high design standards and a refined aesthetic.
Experience in conceptual development of retail programming.
Regulated industry experience is preferred.
Leadership experience where delegation was necessary to succeed.
Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in packaging design.
Understanding of brand and retail marketing nuances.
Experience with Figma and other project management tools.
Ability to pivot to new creative directions in a positive, team-oriented manner.
