Job Description

Curaleaf is seeking an Art Director to shape integrated campaigns from concept through production in our Stamford, Connecticut on-site studio. This role partners with the Creative Director to sustain strong brand relationships and ensure every deliverable meets strategic and creative briefs, with a compensation range of USD 79,000 to 85,000 per year and a requirement of at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Concept and design integrated campaigns, shepherding the creative process to keep work on strategy and on brief.
Work independently or with a writer counterpart to concept and deliver best-in-class campaigns across digital, print, animation, and video.
Develop compelling presentation decks that clearly communicate concepts and energize stakeholders.
Maintain organized files and archival practices to enable efficient collaboration.
Inspire the team by sharing reference material that conveys a clear design vision.
Collaborate effectively within a close-knit, global organization.
Manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
Oversee two direct reports with guidance from the Creative Director.
Demonstrate an understanding of the realities of marketing regulated products.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience as an Art Director in an agency or in-house creative position.
An online portfolio demonstrating high design standards and a refined aesthetic.
Experience in conceptual development of retail programming.
Regulated industry experience is preferred.
Leadership experience where delegation was necessary to succeed.
Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in packaging design.
Understanding of brand and retail marketing nuances.
Experience with Figma and other project management tools.
Ability to pivot to new creative directions in a positive, team-oriented manner.
