Job Description

This remote, freelance position seeks an experienced WordPress Web Designer with strong Avada expertise to design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress sites for clients. The role emphasizes delivering visually compelling, responsive solutions on a flexible, remote basis.

Overview

The role concentrates on creating, implementing, and sustaining WordPress websites using the Avada theme. You will produce unique, responsive designs that reflect client branding and objectives, supported by a remote, freelance work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and customize WordPress sites using the Avada theme, integrating advanced features, custom elements, and necessary integrations.
  • Tailor Avada templates and components to deliver distinctive designs aligned with client branding and goals.
  • Improve site performance and responsiveness through Avada tools and established best practices.
  • Ensure cross device and cross browser compatibility via thorough testing and debugging.
  • Stay informed about the latest Avada features, updates, and WordPress ecosystem developments.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members on Avada related issues and solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of web design experience in the home services sector.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to go beyond instructions to enhance work quality.
  • Ability to ask clarifying questions when needed to ensure alignment and quality.
  • Proficiency with Trello, Slack, Google Drive, Google Meet, and Loom.
  • Availability for video calls during company operating hours (10:00 am to 5:00 pm EST), with an approximate daily window of 4 hours for questions or feedback.
  • 0 tolerance for missed deadlines — timely delivery is mandatory.
