Job Description

BDO is seeking a Visual Design Senior Specialist in Chicago, on-site, to design and produce PowerPoint-based and interactive visuals for client presentations, trainings, and events. The role can lead or support presentation projects, collaborate with Creative Services, and ensure brand identity and quality across materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop PowerPoint-based visuals and interactive content for client and prospect decks, meeting support assets, internal and external training materials, reports, and related deliverables.
  • Edit images and create custom charts, graphs, tables, icons, and other infographics, aligning with brand guidelines and using stock assets as needed.
  • Draft, review, and refine engaging copy and messaging for presentations and related materials.
  • Lead or provide substantial support on presentation projects and internal focus areas.
  • Work independently and with colleagues and internal clients to establish clear creative direction and translate it into persuasive presentations, executing with confidence.
  • Research firm audiences and recommend appropriate structure, layout, and imagery.
  • Support the creation, evolution, maintenance, and modification of master PowerPoint templates and editable graphics resources for diverse needs.
  • Champion the BDO brand to ensure all materials reflect the firm’s messages, positioning, and visual identity.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and resources that communicate the corporate visual identity and presentation processes in line with global standards and best practices.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency by reviewing work and adhering to established brand standards and processes.
  • Maintain the team’s digital file management and backup practices.
  • Identify industry, design, and presentation trends, and continuously expand technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional involvement.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Three or more years of design or marketing and communications experience required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint required.
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required.
