Job Description

Accenture Song is seeking a Visual Design Associate Manager to help shape and execute visual design direction across engagements. This role contributes to aesthetic language, design systems, and visual outputs from early concepting through delivery, while building client-facing communication and beginning mentoring responsibilities.

  • Location: Culver City, CA (onsite)

Compensation

  • Salary range: USD 68,300 - 218,800 per year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific location. Role Location Annual Salary Range includes:

  • California: $73,800 to $218,800
  • Cleveland: $68,300 to $175,000
  • Colorado: $73,800 to $189,000
  • District of Columbia: $78,500 to $201,300
  • Illinois: $68,300 to $189,000
  • Maine: $62,800 to $161,000
  • Maryland: $73,800 to $189,000
  • Massachusetts: $73,800 to $201,300
  • Minnesota: $73,800 to $189,000
  • New York: $68,300 to $218,800

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and help shape visual design direction on engagements (internal or client) from concept through delivery, supporting quality, aesthetic cohesion, and project timelines.
  • Apply conceptual thinking to translate briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into visual executions, developing and defending an original visual point of view.
  • Produce high-quality visual design across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital experiences, with strong craft and attention to detail.
  • Operate hands-on and self-directed by taking ownership of your workstream, making considered design decisions, and delivering production-ready output with minimal redirection.
  • Use AI tools actively in your workflow to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, and help advance team AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Participate confidently in client and stakeholder conversations by clearly communicating design rationale and building presence as a trusted creative voice.
  • Document and share how AI tools are changing your workflow to support the practice’s evolving understanding of AI-enabled visual design.
  • Support proposals and case studies by contributing project work, process documentation, and design narratives that showcase visual design capabilities.
  • Stay aligned to internal and client needs and creative opportunities on engagements, flagging potential areas for deeper work or expanded scope to your lead.
  • Support and informally mentor junior team members by providing feedback, creative references, and practical ways of working to build visual craft.
  • Actively participate in the Visual Design Craft community by contributing to shared resources, community discussions, and ongoing discipline development.
  • Execute and shape aesthetic language, design system, and visual output across touchpoints and program phase outputs such as research, strategy, and UX under a lead’s guidance.
  • Develop capability to drive the day-to-day creative workstream with oversight from your lead and support from your junior team.
  • Begin taking on mentoring and coaching responsibilities within the team.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and collaborators, connecting visual decisions to brand strategy and project goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in visual design across a range of industries, brand types, platforms, and visual contexts.
  • Experience contributing to visual design engagements end-to-end, from creative concepting and visual strategy to production-ready delivery.
  • Proven ability to produce brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI that demonstrate a strong and developing visual voice.
  • Ability to deliver high-fidelity visual work with strong attention to detail, including pixel-perfect deliverables and developer-ready specifications.
  • Experience providing feedback and informal guidance to junior designers, with increasing ability to help others build craft and creative confidence.
  • Experience working in agile and cross-functional environments with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists to deliver cohesive experiences.
  • Grounding in UX principles that inform visual design decisions, supporting intuitive user guidance while expressing a coherent brand point of view.
  • Comfort contributing to scalable design systems to maintain visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels.
  • Comfort using AI tools in visual design practice, including concept generation, mood-boarding, rapid iteration, and openness to evolving AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Recent hands-on experience with design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant motion, illustration, or AI design tools.
  • Communication skills and developing client presence, including the ability to present design rationale and contribute to creative discussions with stakeholders.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Interest or developing fluency in adjacent areas such as brand strategy, service design, content design, or a self-directed expansion of skillset.
  • Experience contributing to practice-level initiatives such as ways of working, craft assets, onboarding, or community forums.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in visual design, visual communications, graphic design, fine art, or a related creative field.
  • Experience working in management consulting, a creative agency, or a professional services environment.
  • Experience building an external presence through publishing creative POVs, participating in design community events, or sharing work publicly.
