Job Description
Community College of Denver is seeking a part-time Visual Arts and Graphic Design adjunct instructor to join its Denver campus. The role centers on teaching Web Design to students in both face-to-face and online formats, with the potential to offer Introduction to Computer Graphics at the high school level while supporting curriculum and student activities across the program.
Responsibilities
- Teach Graphic Design studio classes within the discipline and Web Design in a face-to-face setting.
- Carry out class preparation, evaluate student work, participate in program-level assessment, and advise students, while attending student art/design shows and supporting scholarship programs.
- Incorporate Open Educational Resources (OER) into courses.
- Attend department meetings and respond to emails from students and supervisors within two business days.
- Participate in discipline and department decision making related to curriculum, program development, scheduling, and other relevant matters.
- Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position.
