Job Description

Freelance on-site Video Editor and Motion Designer for YoungLA For Her in Northridge, CA, at an hourly rate of USD 28 to 34.

Responsibilities

  • Lead concepting, production, and delivery of video and motion assets for weekly product drops and restocks, ensuring content is on time and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Create, edit, and optimize content across multiple formats and aspect ratios, with a primary focus on vertical 9:16 and square 1:1 assets for social, paid media, and digital channels.
  • Creative asset development: produce a wide range of high-performing content, including evergreen creative and ad hoc formats such as GIFs, motion graphics, lo-fi edits, and other performance-driven assets, while remaining agile for fast-turnaround requests.
  • Maintain a premium, cohesive visual identity across all video and motion content, ensuring every asset aligns with the YLA For Her brand aesthetic, voice, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphic design, specifically within fashion, streetwear, or e-commerce.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean, elevated, modern fashion aesthetic and an ability to make apparel look premium and desirable through movement.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to manage a heavy workflow and deliver 6+ polished deliverables per week without sacrificing quality.
  • Comfortable shifting between structured drop assets, app trailers, quick-turnaround GIFs, and unique special projects.
