UI/UX Designer

Toyota Financial Services is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to guide web-based product experiences from early discovery through production handoff. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex, ambiguous problems into customer experiences that feel intuitive, accessible, and visually polished.

Reporting directly to the Manager - UI/UX Design, you’ll help maintain day-to-day alignment with the extended design team while raising the bar for craft across the group. The work is grounded in both customer research and business outcomes, with design decisions focused on how customers trust and understand the product.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of the Manager - UI/UX Design, maintaining daily communication with the extended team.
• Lead design of end-to-end web-based product experiences, driving work from early discovery through production handoff and supporting team craft standards.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to convert complex problems into experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and visually refined.
• Work with autonomy while elevating others around you.
• Make design decisions based on customer research and business outcomes, shaping how the team works beyond just shipping deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience shipping digital products, including ownership of complex initiatives.
• Exceptional visual design skills, including typography, color, spacing, and layout, with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
• Expert proficiency in Figma.
• Proven experience designing for web platforms.
• Advanced prototyping and interaction design skills.
• Experience using and contributing to design systems.
• Strong record leading customer research and usability testing, then translating findings into decisions.
• Strong understanding of Design Thinking methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal formats, with ability to explain design rationale to varied audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing across teams and levels without direct authority.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking and senior-level impact: the problem, your process, and measurable outcomes.
