Sr. UI/UX Web Designer

Fender’s Marketing web team is hiring a Sr. UI/UX Web Designer in Phoenix, AZ to help evolve the company’s global digital experience across key direct-to-consumer properties.

• Support web design across Fender’s Shopify website ecosystem
• Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, user-centered design solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the creative team to maintain continuity in delivery of product design expectations
• Evolve and scale responsive design systems across web touchpoints
• Contribute to and champion the refreshed Fender design language
• Present design work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
• Balance large initiatives with iterative optimizations such as PDP/PLP updates and merch modules

Working across Fender digital properties

• Design support for Fender.com, JacksonGuitars.com, and Presonus.com

Requirements

• 6+ years of web design experience with a strong UI/UX foundation
• Experience supporting global corporate websites that combine brand storytelling with eCommerce
• Strong UX skills: information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and problem solving
• Excellent visual design skills with close collaboration with brand and creative teams
• Experience working in Shopify and/or with content management systems such as Contentful
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Jira workflows
• Ability to self-direct and present work confidently in a lean, cross-functional environment
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through design
• Familiarity with Baymard Institute best practices and accessibility standards
• Passion for music or experience supporting global consumer brands
• Experience designing lifestyle commerce-oriented experiences
• Multi-platform and multi-screen experience
