Sr. Art Director
Job Description
THE·TEAM is building standout visuals across social, presentations, websites, and experiential work, with a focus on imagery that earns attention and keeps the conversation moving. As a Senior Art Director, you’ll help shape concepts into finished assets, collaborate across creative and production partners, and keep the visual output feeling fresh, intentional, and culturally current. This is a permanent role based in Brooklyn, NY with a hybrid schedule and additional in-person event coverage as needed.
What you’ll do
- Create brand-supporting visuals that encourage real conversation.
- Partner with creative and production teams to keep the work thoughtful and cohesive.
- Join brainstorms and help evolve ideas from rough sketches into real deliverables.
- Contribute to, and sometimes own, client presentations and pitch decks.
- Work alongside CDs and ACDs on creative ideas spanning social, presentations, websites, and experiential projects.
- Stay connected to cultural trends to keep output fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with a Designer, Copywriter, or Creator to develop ideas that feel new instead of reused.
- Move fluidly through concepting, art directing, designing, tweaking, reviewing, and reacting to what the day requires.
- Produce visuals that stand out in the feed.
What you bring
- 6+ years of agency experience bringing ideas to life.
- Ability to concept quickly while avoiding recycling the same idea with minor variations.
- Strong visual judgment, plus the ability to explain what works and why.
- Proven collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Comfort adapting to a brand’s visual identity and switching gears quickly.
- Understanding of brand partnerships and why they matter.
- Comfort with social media and AI tools, with bonus interest in basketball.
- Expertise in Photoshop and the common tools of the role.
- Understanding of how content needs to look and function across platforms.
- Take pride in the work, communicate early, and stay curious about emerging trends.
- Comfort using G Suite.
- Easygoing, collaborative approach, comfortable working across teams.
- Ability to communicate with senior creatives and align with strategists and producers, while working smoothly with designers and creators.
- Solid enough production understanding to plan ahead and keep edits moving.

- Location: Brooklyn, NY (hybrid)
- Compensation: USD 95,000 - 110,000 per year
- Experience: 6+ years
- Schedule: Permanent role with hybrid scheduling and additional in-person event coverage as needed
