Senior Web Designer

Senior Web Designer role at Skycrest Creative, remote, responsible for owning visual direction across marketing sites, product UI, and brand systems, translating concepts into working designs in Figma and partnering with developers to ship them without losing details; this is not a template role; every project starts from research and ends with something specific to the client.

Responsibilities

• Guide the visual strategy for 2 to 4 client projects simultaneously
• Manage Figma workflows from moodboard through polished, developer-ready screens
• Develop and extend brand systems including typography, color, spacing, and components
• Review design implementations and perform QA with engineering teams
• Present work to clients and articulate design decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of web or product design experience
• A portfolio that demonstrates a distinct, well-executed visual direction rather than templates
• Strong typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy fundamentals
• Proficient in Figma, comfortable with component libraries and design tokens
• Able to work asynchronously and communicate clearly in writing
