Senior Product Designer
Job Description
Join goodr’s Innovation and Design team to shape and elevate the brand’s visual identity while bringing innovative sunglass collections to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead design direction and generate high-level concepts via hand sketching, pattern and textile creation, and custom artwork for frame silhouettes, temples, hardware, and lens treatments
- Create premium packaging, marketing assets, and supporting collateral tied to seasonal product launches
- Translate seasonal color, material, and finish (CMF) stories into surface designs across frames and packaging
- Apply fashion and accessory trend narratives to 2D product surfaces, graphics, and printed collateral with precision
- Build graphic mockups, colorways, and artwork layouts for sunglasses and soft goods packaging
- Ensure high-fidelity translation of creative vision into final product print files and 2D Tech Packs
- Mentor junior designers in CMF exploration, surface artwork generation, and packaging design execution
- Own timelines and communicate early when plans shift or risks emerge; communication matters
- Collaborate with Product Development, Product Strategy, and Design teams to keep ideas flowing
- Work within the Innovation and Design team; report directly to the Director of Innovation and Design
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience
- Strong background in Product Development for consumer packaged goods, taking concepts and vision through to real-world execution (eyewear industry experience is beneficial)
- Refined design capabilities with strong conceptualization skills
- Excellent sketching skills (required)
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition
- Knowledge of print and digital design best practices
- Proficiency on a Mac and Google Workspace
- Strong communicator who thrives in collaboration
- Motivated by personal growth and comfortable working with constant feedback
- Proactive, independent problem-solving mindset
- Degree requirements: may or may not have a degree; this is not the focus

- Hybrid expectation: required in the Inglewood office every Tuesday and Thursday, with an occasional third day
Salary
- USD 105,000 - 120,000 per year
- Final offer will be made within this range based on experience
