Job Description

This full-time role at S3 Design Group LLC places a senior focus on packaging design, product development, branding, photo-retouching, and related marketing materials, all under the guidance of the Creative Director. The position is based in New York, NY and is performed onsite.

Summary

The position combines leadership in packaging design with hands-on responsibility for creative execution across product visuals, branding initiatives, and marketing collateral, delivering cohesive work from concept through final production under the Creative Director’s supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full design workflow from concept development to production-ready packaging, product visuals, and marketing assets such as catalogs and brand teasers.
  • Own projects end to end, taking them from initiation through final delivery.
  • Coordinate tasks and manage timelines to ensure on schedule completion.
  • Develop and maintain product and packaging specifications and designs.
  • Distribute initial, revised, and final artwork to overseas offices promptly.
  • Provide clear, comprehensive comments on production and pre-production samples.
  • Maintain daily communication with overseas factories to address design issues as they arise.
  • Exhibit visible leadership within the team and division, driving opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite on macOS.
  • Strong expertise in branding and packaging design.
  • Deep understanding of die lines and production print-file preparation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience; a strong portfolio is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
