Senior Motion Designer

This onsite Senior Motion Designer role in Santa Monica, CA offers a robust benefits package and a clear path to impact across Amazon Devices. You will collaborate with creative leads, editors, and production teams to translate brand strategy into compelling motion across campaigns, launches, keynote content, product pages, and social channels. The role calls for strong craft, ownership from concept to final delivery, and the ability to manage multiple motion projects against tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own motion design and animation execution for assigned campaigns and launch moments, from concept through final delivery
• Develop styleframes, storyboards, and animation concepts that translate brand strategy into motion
• Edit and finish film and motion content for keynote, campaign, and social deliverables
• Partner with creative directors and art directors to develop and pitch motion concepts and territories
• Collaborate with editors, sound designers, and production to keep motion work on schedule and technically sound
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to junior motion designers on the team
• Maintain technical and craft standards across motion deliverables as formats and platforms evolve

Requirements

• 8+ years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
• Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation
