Responsibilities

• Lead the visual development of motion graphics and kinetic text, crafting mission scenes and animations with both 2D and 3D assets
• Create style frames and storyboards to communicate narrative concepts
• Shape visualization techniques and aesthetic directions for projects
• Provide clear, constructive feedback during design critiques
• Participate in daily design discussions and idea generation
• Oversee design explorations and maintain up to date style guides
• Keep current with standard industry workflows, processes, and tools
• Collaborate with the producer, design leads, marketing, and communications teams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional motion design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency across animation techniques, ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visuals, and a refined stylistic voice
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals: form, color, composition, typography
• Technical fluency in 2D and 3D software used in workflows
• Team oriented, with a distinctive aesthetic sensibility and passion for bringing concepts to life
• On-site work in Costa Mesa, CA
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information or facilities
