Job Description

Gelia is looking for a Senior Art Director to lead concept development and art direction across a variety of projects. This onsite role in Williamsville, NY supports teams doing work across print, digital, social, and video, with a process that moves from early ideas through final execution. The position offers $60,000 - $80,000 per year and includes benefits designed to support you and your family.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Translate strategy into creative that performs across channels, industries, and teams.
  • Develop concepts and deliver art direction and design across a range of project types.
  • Guide work from initial idea through final execution, ensuring the end result stays aligned with the vision.

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of design and art direction experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and flawless execution across print, digital, social, and video.
  • Mastery of design fundamentals including typography, color, and layout, along with the strategic thinking behind them.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams while maintaining brand and creative integrity.
  • Strategic problem-solving that connects client objectives to high-impact visual ideas.
  • Strong ownership of timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting technology, trends, and client needs.
  • Deep attention to detail for pixel-perfect execution.
  • Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
  • Proficiency with AI-enabled creative tools and platforms to improve ideation, speed, and output.
  • Experience designing for digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, visual and verbal.
  • Comfort working with feedback, fast turnarounds, and cross-office collaboration.
  • A link to a portfolio with polished, high-functioning work.
