SADA Graphic Design WS

This work-study role supports Liberty University’s Studio and Digital Arts department and Art Museum with routine office tasks, customer service, and light creative work. The position requires flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork to effectively assist with a range of duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly, while communicating effectively in both spoken and written form.
• Support the department's needs and adapt to changing assignments, projects, and roles as requested.
• Demonstrate reliability, maturity, trustworthiness, and responsibility in all duties.
• Provide coaching and peer support, help students navigate campus resources, and assist professional staff with general office duties.
• Coordinate availability to align with the student’s academic schedule and maintain flexibility as needed.
• Preference for Tue/Thu or Mon/Wed/Fri schedules to establish regular hours; occasional evening events (typically Thursday) and periodic Saturday afternoon assignments (three to four hours) may be required.
• Work effectively as a team member and contribute to LU’s mission.
• Strictly adhere to Liberty University policies and represent the University in an exemplary manner.

Requirements

• Must be a Work Study eligible student; eligibility should be confirmed with Liberty University’s Financial Aid department in Student Services.
• Must be a residential student declared as a Graphic Design or Studio Art major and/or minor.
• Preference given to applicants with graphic design skills and experience for project-based assignments, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Professional photography skills may be considered an advantage.
