Job Description

A hands-on role supporting photo lab workflows, color management, prepress tasks, and graphic design projects in a production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and respond to walk-in clients as well as phone and email inquiries to determine project needs.
  • Oversee color calibration and color management workflows to ensure faithful reproduction across diverse media.
  • Assist with layout, typography, and overall graphic composition using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure consistency with client specifications.
  • Operate and maintain printers to optimize production throughput.
  • Support prepress tasks including file preparation, proofing, and troubleshooting print issues.

Requirements

  • Creative mindset with a solid artistic foundation.
  • Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; training is available for the right candidate.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Digital photography and photo editing skills.
  • Knowledge of color management techniques and print production workflows.
  • Familiarity with digital printing technology.
  • Familiarity with prepress software for preparing files for print.
  • Basic understanding of typography, layout design, and print advertising principles.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure quality control throughout production.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Compensation

  • Pay rate: USD 18.00 - 20.00 per hour

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (required).

Work Location

  • On-site role based in Old Greenwich, CT 06870; on-site work is required.
