Part-time Faculty, Graphic Design – Art

Located in Youngstown, Ohio, this part-time, remote teaching role provides graphic design instruction entirely online in an asynchronous format. The position emphasizes student success and includes virtual student engagement upon request. Openings are filled on an ongoing basis to support continuous course offerings.

Responsibilities

• Delivers graphic design courses online in an asynchronous format.
• Provides high quality instruction that prioritizes student success.
• Available to hold virtual meetings with students upon request.
• Teaching assignments are remote and typically follow a Monday through Friday pattern.
• Delivers instruction and constructive feedback to guide student achievement.
• Responds promptly to student inquiries and communications.
• Communicates with students, department colleagues, and university offices via official university tools and resources.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Master’s degree in Graphic Design or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
• Minimum of seven years of professional experience in the field.
• Teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
• Physical requirement: sedentary work; occasional exertion up to 10 pounds of force, or a negligible amount of force frequently.
