Job Description
State Technical College of Missouri in Linn, MO is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to maintain the college website and create graphic design assets that support marketing initiatives. This onsite role blends website management, promotional material production, and branding support across the campus. The position offers an annual salary of USD 45,000 to 50,000.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the College's mission and brand positioning, including advocacy and quality control of the College's brand and trademarks, internally and externally at State Technical College of Missouri.
- Maintain and update the State Tech website, www.statetechmo.edu.
- Assist in producing promotional materials as a graphic designer and support projects such as photography, operating the State Tech sign shop, and managing social media efforts.
Requirements
- Education: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required; related-field experience may be substituted.
- Minimum experience: 3 years in a multimedia/marketing context or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of relevant multimedia/marketing experience.
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress content management system.

- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience using DSLR cameras for still photography.
- A portfolio that demonstrates these abilities.
- Ability to interpret data and use that to inform designs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assist in campus signage creation, including laser engraving, vinyl cutting and wrapping, and large form printing.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships with internal staff, partners, and a wide range of groups from industry, academia, government, and the community.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
