Job Description
This contract role seeks a Motion Designer and Video Editor to support RUN STUDIOS LLC on a three-month engagement in Seattle. The position is hybrid, requiring multiple days on site in Seattle, WA.

Compensation
Hourly rate: USD 70 - 85
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in motion design and video editing.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and animation for video content, covering concept development, storyboarding, asset creation, animation, and final output.
- Edit live-action and mixed-media projects, including cuts, basic color correction, basic audio leveling, and finishing passes.
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects tailored for social media and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and stakeholders to translate briefs into polished deliverables.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visuals outputs.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in motion design and video editing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both animation/motion graphics work and live-action video editing.
- Ability to independently shepherd a project from initial concept through final animated delivery.
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience creating content for social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Excellent time management and adherence to structured production timelines.
- Figma for UI/UX asset design, layout creation, and design-team collaboration.
- Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animation, compositing, and visual effects.
- Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing, basic color correction, and audio leveling.
- Adobe Illustrator for vector asset creation, icon design, and animation-ready graphics.
