Job Description
The Great Falls Symphony Association is seeking a part-time Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator to handle marketing, communications, social media, email campaigns, and print plus digital design from Great Falls, MT (hybrid) with compensation of USD 25 - 30 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce materials for season brochures, renewal kits, envelopes, and order forms
- Design and layout annual program books and concert programs
- Create materials for the Black Tie & Blue Jeans gala, including invitations, programs, table numbers, posters, bid cards, signage, and related items
- Prepare fund drive collateral, newsletters, donor remittance forms, and thank-you cards
- Produce tickets, ticket envelopes, signage, flyers, postcards, inserts, and other printed items
- Develop print and digital advertisements for concerts, fundraising campaigns, education programs, and special events
- Establish templates and branded assets for recurring marketing needs
- Design and format eblasts for concerts, events, fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and announcements
- Write and assemble content for email campaigns, coordinating visuals, links, and calls to action
- Design graphics, social posts, stories, banners, and promotional content
- Create content for Symphony concerts, Chamber Music Series, Youth Orchestra, Youth Matinee, Free Family Concert, fundraising campaigns, and Black Tie & Blue Jeans materials
- Repurpose approved marketing copy and campaign themes for social media use
- Assist with social media calendars and scheduled posts
- Update event graphics, images, copy, or links as directed
- Prepare web-ready graphics and assets
- Assist with basic page updates for concerts, events, campaigns, and announcements
- Ensure visual consistency between website materials and other marketing collateral
Requirements
- Demonstrated graphic design experience with print and digital materials
- Proficiency in professional design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Canva, or comparable platforms
- Ability to design multi-page publications, including program books and brochures
- Experience creating content for social media, email marketing, print advertising, and digital campaigns
- Strong visual judgment with attention to layout, typography, branding, and file preparation
- Excellent attention to detail for dates, names, sponsor listings, concert information, and donor recognition
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while taking direction and feedback well
- Reliable access to a computer, internet, and necessary design software
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must pass a background check

Work Schedule

- Some evening or weekend availability may be required for concerts, events, or urgent production deadlines
