Job Description
Join Lockheed Martin’s in-house Visual Communications team in an onsite role focused on high-impact design work that supports brand-consistent storytelling across digital, broadcast, and print. You’ll shape motion-first creative for key channels while helping drive smoother production workflows, collaborate with internal partners and external vendors, and share creative direction with junior designers.
Location: Orlando, FL or Grand Prairie, TX (onsite)
Salary: $72,500 - $134,600 per year (full-time)
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of motion graphics for digital and broadcast platforms.
- Design print collateral while maintaining established brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Missiles and Fire Control team and work with external vendors.
- Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and delivery.
- Mentor junior designers and provide creative direction during the process.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, specifically Illustrator and After Effects.
- Proven ability to ideate, storyboard, and pitch full-funnel creative campaigns to senior stakeholders.
- Strong Motion Graphics skills using Adobe After Effects, with possible experience in Premiere and/or Unreal Engine for immersive projects.
- Knowledge of pre-press for digital, large format, and offset printing, plus strong written and verbal communication to lead creative reviews and mentor junior designers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work well under pressure, and meet short deadlines.
- Proficiency with video codecs, file formats, and delivery specifications for broadcast, web, and social platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for graphic design support.
- Comfort taking direction, asking questions when needed, and proactively challenging concepts to elevate solutions.
- Professional ability to build and animate using 3-D assets for motion graphics.
- Proficient with AI-enhanced workflows using Adobe Creative Suite, Leonardo, and ElevenLabs.
- Thrives in a creative environment while handling a balanced workload that includes different task types critical to business success.
- Able to accept constructive feedback and participate in creative reviews professionally to satisfy creative brief requirements.
- Ability to follow established workflow and project management procedures.
- Familiar with working within a corporate brand guide.
- Ability to work occasionally outside normal business hours and on weekends.
- Ability to travel as needed (less than 50%).
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance with the United States Government.

Incentive pay: Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and can vary year to year based on a range of performance metrics.
Washington state applicants (PTO note): Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and other reasons, and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month, accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
