Job Description

The Luminos Fund seeks a part-time Graphic Design Consultant for a six-month contract to develop on-brand digital and print assets that communicate the organization's mission and impact. This remote role requires EST-based work hours and reports to the Associate Director of Communications.

Responsibilities

  • Create social media graphics, including short animations and videos, carousel content, and data visualizations.
  • Design data and strategy visuals for the website, annual reports, presentations, and other external materials.
  • Format PowerPoint presentations in Luminos-branded templates, incorporating Luminos icons, photography, and editable graphics.
  • Provide presentation design support by distilling executive-level thinking, data, and complex concepts into clear, readable slides and graphics free from typos.
  • Format and design reports, proposals, concept notes, and other publications in Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign.
  • Produce printed collateral for events, including postcards, flyers, banners, and signage.
  • Design branded promotional items and gifts in alignment with Luminos branding.
  • Expand the Luminos icon library by creating custom icons in the Luminos style.
  • Support fast turnaround design needs while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, brand consistency, and accessibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional design experience, with a blend of print and digital work preferred.
  • Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong experience formatting and producing materials in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, including spotting typos, inconsistencies, and formatting issues.
  • Proven organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Availability to start the role in July 2026.
