Job Description

Atlantic Beverage Distributors is seeking a Graphic Design and Production Artist to join its marketing team onsite in Holliston, Massachusetts. This role blends creative graphic design with hands-on production duties to support a broad range of promotional materials, reflecting roughly 3 to 5 years of Graphic Design and Production experience. The position offers an annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000.

Responsibilities

  • Track and update the marketing department's electronic job-tracking system, prioritizing requests according to business needs.
  • Design assets for promotional campaigns, including direct mail pieces, in-store signage (shelf talkers, posters, large-format window clings, end-cap displays), banners for restaurants, bars, and events, drink menus, table tents, sell sheets, and one-page references for sales reps; social media images, website banners, email newsletter visuals, and other specialized requests as needed.
  • Apply best-practice graphic design principles for imagery, typography, and layout while following brand guidelines where applicable.
  • Collaborate with management and the sales team to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Proofread all work during the editing process using the department's editorial checklist, job request cover sheet, and related tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare files for production with pre-flight checks and release processes for print production (bleeds, trim, crop marks, die lines, etc.) and online marketing assets (web optimization, file compression, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain templates for standardized jobs.
  • Maintain a library of current high-resolution images of products, logos, and brand partner photography.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of print production processes and timelines.
  • Print, cut, and assemble small in-house print production jobs for meetings and targeted company initiatives.
  • Ensure all internally and externally produced work meets print production specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain adequate levels of standard marketing collateral (shelf talkers, sell sheets) on a weekly basis and proactively reprint as needed.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to drive company growth and brand recognition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and daily use of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and reprioritize workload across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to process constructive feedback and collaborate with team members.
  • Motivated and resourceful self-starter with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage industry a plus.
