Full-Stack Product Designer — Growth + Core Product
Job Description
Legion Health is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience from acquisition through onboarding and ongoing care.
Responsibilities
- Translate patient needs and complex care workflows into journeys, information architecture, interaction flows, prototypes, and polished UI.
- Design patient onboarding and ongoing care alongside clinician and operator workflows, with focus on clarity, trust, accessibility, and mobile usability.
- Define complete interaction states, including loading, empty, error, permission, and recovery; write clear interface copy and remove avoidable dead ends.
- Build and maintain a practical design system with reusable components, patterns, and usage guidance to help the team ship consistently and quickly.
- Ship production PRs regularly; work in the codebase for well-scoped changes such as instrumentation, internal tools, workflow logic, UI and copy improvements, prototypes, and small fixes.
- Test, review, and roll out work safely in close partnership with engineering.
- Apply Legion brand across the website, landing pages, lifecycle communications, and acquisition creative.
- Develop paid-creative concepts and experiment variants with Growth; use performance feedback to improve messaging and experience.
- Use user research, usability testing, product analytics, and experiment results to locate friction and decide what to improve.
- Connect acquisition promises to the product experience to create a coherent path from first impression to activation and continued care.
- Work AI-natively across the design process using tools such as v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, and Cursor; generate and compare directions, build high-fidelity interactive prototypes, test earlier, accelerate implementation, and shorten the loop from concept to shipped product while using strong judgment for final decisions.
Requirements
- Portfolio of shipped product work showing the problem, your personal contribution, alternatives, tradeoffs, interaction detail, and outcomes.
- Strong product-design depth and visual craft across typography, layout, brand, and web.
- Experience taking ambiguous problems from discovery to polished UI with production collaboration with engineers.
- Comfort working directly in a codebase: use Git and pull requests, test well-scoped changes, incorporate engineering review, and roll out safely.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-native design and prototyping workflows; show how you used v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, Cursor, or comparable tools to materially improve speed, breadth, fidelity, or quality of shipped work.
- Website or landing-page work experience and the ability to develop effective acquisition creative; curiosity about what makes creative perform.
- Ability to use qualitative feedback and quantitative evidence without reducing every design decision to a single conversion metric.
- Clear writing, low ego, high ownership, and ability to balance speed with quality in an early-stage team.
- Healthcare or another trust-sensitive consumer product experience is helpful.
