Freelance Motion Designer (Video + Web Lottie Animations) – Part-Time / Project-Based

This remote, part time freelance motion design role focuses on crafting engaging video and web animations for YouTube and WordPress with Elementor Pro. Expect about 5 to 10 hours per week on a project-based cadence, with an hourly rate of 40.00 to 60.00 USD.

Responsibilities

• Design video assets such as slick transitions, lower thirds, title cards, and kinetic graphics for the YouTube channel
• Build web assets including custom UI animations, micro-interactions, and visual storytelling pieces optimized for the web
• Package animations for developers, delivering clean Lottie JSON or web-ready formats for WordPress using Elementor Pro

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in motion graphics
• Proficiency with industry standard tools, especially After Effects; familiarity with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
• Experience creating web-ready animations; familiarity with Figma, LottieFiles, or Rive is a big plus
• You do not need to be a web designer or coder, but you must understand how motion translates to the web and how to hand off assets to a developer
• Strong communication and reliability to translate briefs into motion concepts
• English language proficiency
